Part 2: Design Project Allen Way
Do you remember Part 1: Design Project Allen Way? You have waited long enough. Meet the completely redesigned California dream home on Allen Way.
Whether its rugs, door handles, sofa cushions, or lighting, the interiors of Swank Design are thought through to the smallest details. The atmosphere created in each room co-exist in harmony. In the Allen Way Project we created a unique and sensitive response to architecture, location, and client vision.
We aimed for a dynamic Californian contemporary design. We tore down the walled in dining space which invited a more open concept into the home. The use of modern furniture and textured fabrics, creates a sophisticated approachable atmosphere.
With elegance, traditional design seduces modern design by adding warmth of fine art and wood. Mixing simplistic lines with traditional features, such as the mantle and wood ceiling, created a medley of classic and clean in this project.
The master suite was revitalized with an interior that keeps up with changing times. It needed a breath of fresh air with modern cheerful expression. Organic colors with splashes of fun ordain this new master suite.
Minimalistic and mid century modern furniture satisfies a sleek and young look.
Lets talk bathrooms. The jewel of the Allen Way project was the complete overhaul of the master bath. We focused on moving away from the old dated style that had been around for too long.
We emphasized the hip, the glamorous, and the here and now. Filled with current materials and products, this bathroom was made to wow. Clean lines, sharp angles and the use of gold brought new sophistication and luxury into this master bath.
White marble countertops and tiling keep this bathroom looking clean and spacious. No detail has been forgotten. Gold accents serve as a classy color break. Visible gold lighting to gold fixtures brightly accent a monotone environment.
